Description

This is 19 frames stacked and merged. The coma appears black because it was moving rapidly. Each frame's coma was blacked out by the other 18 frames that didn't contain the coma because it was moving so fast. The nebulosity is retained because it is visible in all the frames. Galaxy NGC 428 is at the extreme upper left corner.
